NATURE JOURNALING

Local artist Shoshana Brand will present a hands-on Nature Journaling workshop on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to noon at Mobile Botanical Gardens. Geared towards individuals and families alike (ages 11 and up), the workshop will be conducted outdoors in the beautiful Gardens and concentrate on movement in space, nature observation and documentation. In this workshop, students will become explorer artists and will use a variety of artistic tools to create a deep connection with nature, art and themselves. Bring colored pencils and comfortable shoes, and fall in love with nature through unique and fun exercises. The nature journal is included in the price of $35.
