BAYOU HALF MARATHON AND 4-MILER

The Port City Pacers host the Bayou Half Marathon and 4-Miler on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 8 to 11 a.m. The certified half marathon and 4-mile courses start and finish in the heart of Bayou La Batre, near the intersection of Shell Belt Road and Alabama's Coastal Connection. The Pacers will be collecting toys and items such as coloring books, puzzles and craft kits for the patients at USA Children's and Women's Hospital. Everyone is encouraged, but not obligated, to bring a new, unwrapped toy for children from infants through 18-year-olds to the race for donation.
