Alabama Authors Day 2026 will take place on Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the beautiful grounds of the Historic Oakleigh House Museum. Formerly known as the Oakleigh Literary Lawn Party, this reimagined festival is a vibrant celebration of literature, creativity and Southern charm. In partnership with Historic Blakeley State Park, this year’s event will offer appearances and signings by notable authors from across the region, guided bus tours through historic Mobile, scenic river cruises showcasing the best of the Port City and a day filled with inspiration, connection and discovery for authors and readers alike.
