2026 GULF COAST CHINESE LANTERN FESTIVAL

The Gulf Coast Chinese Lantern Festival, a breathtaking display of light and artistry, returns from April 16 to June 21, from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, at Bellingrath Gardens and Home. As night falls, the Gardens will transform into a luminous dreamscape where 40 towering, handcrafted light sculptures glow with vibrant colors. Visitors will journey through the estate, where each glowing display tells a story through plants, animals and fantastical creatures, blending ancient tradition with modern innovation. Many displays invite interaction — dance with vibrant figures, play games and become immersed in the fun. Online tickets are $26 for adults, $22 for children 5 to 12 and $2 for ages 4 and under.
