AFRICATOWN BRIDGE LANDING CEREMONY

The Clotilda Descendants Association Landing Ceremony will take place on Saturday, July 11, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Africatown Bridge. In this time-honored tradition, descendants of the 110 gather to honor their ancestors, remember history and build on legacies. This event is open to the community, but is a ceremony and sacred space for the descendants. Registration is required for CDA members and descendants so accommodations can be made.
