42ND STREET

Joe Jefferson Players open its 78th season with "42nd Street," a Broadway classic that tells the story of Peggy Sawyer, a hopeful young performer who arrives in New York City with dreams of stardom. The musical will be staged from August 8 through August 24 at the Joe Jefferson Playhouse, 11 S. Carlen St., with performances starting at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. on Sundays.
