BATIK IN THE GARDEN (2 SESSIONS)

Create a botanical batik at this workshop with artist Lana Hall on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mobile Botanical Gardens. In this relaxing hands-on class inspired by the beauty of the garden, participants will use simple resist techniques on cotton fabric, framed in a 12-inch embroidery hoop. All materials are included, and no experience is needed. Registration is $50 for members of Mobile Botanical Gardens and $55 for non-members. An additional session will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
