CITY OF MOBILE CRITICAL ROOF REPAIR PROGRAM GRANT INFORMATION SESSION

City of Mobile residents who need new roofs or roof repairs may pick up applications for grant money from the city, Wednesday April 13, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church.

Representatives will be on hand to provide information about the grants, how to qualify and other information as needed. To complete an application for the program, you MUST meet the following requirements:

• The applicant MUST own and occupy the home as their ONLY house
• The applicant MUST meet certain income requirements
• Must have a “Will” or agree to work with Alabama Legal Services to secure a Will
• The property must be located within the City Limits of Mobile.

The City of Mobile’s Neighborhood Development Department’s critical repair program will begin taking applications for those who qualify from April 4, through 29, 2022. Funds are extremely limited, completed, and approved applications will be prioritized based upon need.
