BIENVILLE BITES FOOD TOUR-OLD MOBILE EVENING

Explore the food history of Mobile going back over 1,000 years! Each of five stops is a different, unique dining experience. The tour is held each Thursday, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. beginning in the first-floor lobby of the RSA Tower. The first stop is Dauphin’s on the 34th floor overlooking beautiful Mobile Bay. The views are almost as great as the food! Hear how food has shaped culture and the way of life on the Gulf Coast while traveling the Lower Dauphin Street Historic District. Enjoy a variety of excellent dishes with each stop as a unique dining experience. Hear Mobile’s long history with Cuba at Las Floriditas, a Cuban-themed speakeasy located in the basement of a former bank vault. Experience a walk through the centuries of food history in Mobile and highlight four dishes contributed by Mobilians. Cost is $89 for adults with cocktails and $69 without cocktails. ID is required.
