ART AFTER DARK: GALLERY GROOVES EDITION

Join the Mobile Museum of Art for Art After Dark: Gallery Grooves, a vibrant evening where art meets music! Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Enjoy live vinyl-spinning by Mobile Records throughout the gallery as you take in the groundbreaking art in 1960s Hard Edge & Op Art: Tribute to The Responsive Eye. This exhibition features masterworks from optical art and hard-edge movements and artists such as Josef Albers, Richard Anuszkiewicz, Gene Davis, Julian Stanczak, and Frank Stella. Visitors can also get creative at our DIY Vinyl Record Decorating Station and take home a personalized record. Capture fun moments at our photo station and indulge in delicious fondue treats while sipping specialty cocktails crafted just for the night. This immersive event blends art, music, and creativity for a night you won’t forget. The cost is $5 per person for members and $10 per person for not-yet-members.
