WHEEL THROWING: MUGS & BOWLS

Wednesdays are for unwinding with clay. Have you ever wished you could create your own set of bowls and mugs to share delicious meals with family and friends? Learn the basics of wheel-throwing in this 6- week beginners’ ceramics class, June 29 through Aug. 3, 2022, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Alabama Contemporary Art Center. Instructor Jenny Williams will guide you to create your very own functional ceramic ware, glaze bowls and mugs made on an electric pottery wheel while exploring different decorating techniques over the course of the six-week workshop.
