STREAM SATURDAY: FORENSIC SCIENCE

The Mobile Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the launch of the new STREAM Saturday program on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Alabama School of Math and Science, focusing on the theme of Forensic Science. This unique take on the STEM Mobile program will feature elements of Recreation and Art! Participants in grades K-8 are invited to become forensic reconstruction artists for the day, learn how real forensic experts uncover hidden prints on everyday surfaces by collecting latent fingerprints, discover how bloodstains help detectives reconstruct events through bloodstain analysis, and meet real forensic specialists and local law enforcement as they showcase demos, displays, and tools of the trade!
