SECOND ANNUAL PUMPKIN CATAPULT COMPETITION

Make a Pumpkin Fly! Gather your team for the second annual Catapult Challenge on Saturday, Oct. 30, 8 a.m. at Flight Works Alabama. Teams are to construct a "working" trebuchet or catapult using any materials from home. Teams will compete on Oct. 30 to determine which team can make their pumpkin fly the farthest. Awards will be given for the top three longest-distance launches. Most photogenic and most creative design will also be recognized. Registration is NOW OPEN and the deadline to register is Oct. 4.
