Preventative Health Strategies Using Herbs and Natural Tools to Reduce and Prevent Diseases, is an ongoing health education seminar series presented by Elder Makinde Gbolahan, health advocate, educator and researcher with the Rapha Natural Institute of Health on Tuesday, Aug. 18 (and on the first and third Tuesday of each month) from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Ben May Main Library. This series is designed for adults and community members interested in learning practical, natural approaches to wellness, healthy living and disease prevention. Each session will explore lifestyle habits, nutrition, herbal education and other preventative health practices that may help support overall well-being. Admission is FREE.
