MOBILE GOVERNMENT PLAZA TREE-LIGHTING CELEBRATION

The Mobile County Commission presents the Government Plaza Tree-Lighting Celebration on Monday, Dec. 8, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Atrium of Mobile Government Plaza.

Expect a cheerful evening filled with Christmas carols, photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, cookies, cocoa, apple cider, and lighting the Government Plaza Christmas Tree, a holiday favorite and one of the most popular photo spots of the season.

FREE and open to all! This is a great outing for coworkers, departments, families, and friends.

• An elf will be available to snap festive photos using guests’ phones.
