MOBILE ARTS COUNCIL POETRY GROUP

Be a part of the literary community at this creative writers group aimed at poetry on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m. in the Mobile Arts Council Gallery. Meet MAC writers to partake in focused reading and writing exercises led by Huggy Bear da Poet. The November session, "If You Write It, You Can Recite It," will focus on the value of performing poems to an audience. This ongoing poetry group meets the first Saturday of each month and is free to Mobile Arts Council members, with rotating themes, exercises and different instructors.
