JUAN LOGAN: WITHOUT STOPPING

May 9th, 2025 - Feb 14th, 2026 ·

Mobile Museum of Art (MMofA) hosts internationally celebrated artist Juan Logan’s "Without Stopping," a timely exhibition that questions, creates conversation and fosters empathy, now through Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibition features selections from his far-reaching "Elegies" series comprising more than 200 compositions exploring contemporary themes including the intersection of identity, race, place and social mobility. It marks the public debut of "Without Stopping," pictured above, an epic commissioned painting Logan created for the MMofA permanent collection that documents his learning about the people of Africatown.

Mobile Museum of Art, in partnership with Clotilda: The Exhibition at Africatown Heritage House, a site of the History Museum of Mobile, has also undertaken a special collaboration which will include the installation of a new Juan Logan composition titled "Threads" at Africatown Heritage House. The institutions are also partnering on programs and events that will invite participants to consider the role that art can play in storytelling and the construction of memory.
