HOW TO GET A RAIN BARREL IN SOUTH MOBILE COUNTY

Free rain barrel installations available in south Mobile County.

Rebuilding Together of South Alabama, along with Gulf States Health Policy Center, Gulf Coast Environmental Engagement Center and Bay Area Women Coalition, Inc. are offering free rain barrel installations to homeowners and businesses in Mobile County as part of disaster preparedness efforts.

Collected rainwater can be used for pets, plants, gardens and other outdoor needs. Installations are scheduled for May 18 and May 26 at designated locations.

May 26, 10 a.m. @ Bay Area Women Coalition • 1717 Jessie Street • Mobile, AL 36607

Work will be completed by trained supervisors and volunteers following best practices. Quantities are limited and first come, first served.
