The Dr. James Franklin Historic House & Gallery, in partnership with the Mobile Medical Museum, proudly presents the “Healing the Community: Mobile’s Black Medical History Tour” on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Historic Franklin House and Gallery. This guided tour, a collaboration between the Franklin House and the Mobile Medical Museum, offers a powerful, immersive experience that brings to life the stories of African American medical professionals who served with resilience and excellence during one of the most challenging periods in our nation's history.
