New and aspiring farmers, backyard gardeners and community members curious about soil health won't want to miss this FREE composting workshop on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Taylor Park Community Garden. Learn bio-complete composting skills for every scale and discover how Farmers Cooperative Food Hub is supporting new and experienced farmers locally. Activities will include a hands-on bio-complete demonstration, backyard to market-scale composting tricks and a Q&A with Chandler Dufour, local soil health expert. The workshop will begin in the community center, then move to the garden for the practical exercise. Participants might want to bring a chair and/or a blanket.
