MPRD WINTER-SPRING PROGRAMS' MUSIC AND ART SHOWCASE

The City of Mobile Parks and Recreation Department (MPRD) will host a seasonal Music and Art Showcase on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Hillsdale Community Center. Music Activities Specialist James Gulley and Art Activities Specialist Lee Callaghan have been working diligently with their students over winter and spring programs to present a showcase like no other!

• During the 10 a.m. morning showcase, the Senior Choir, led by James Gulley, will perform beautiful songs learned during their Spring rehearsals.
• The 6 p.m. evening showcase will feature the CD Release Party for their new program, MPRD Music and Art Studios.

Participants in this program not only wrote and recorded their original songs, but they also created the artwork for their CD book. Show your support for their awesome work! Art created during Lee Callaghan's amazing variety of art programs will be on display at both events! Stay for a bit after each showcase to enjoy light refreshments!
