Nov 8th, 2025 10:30 AM-11:30 AM
In partnership with the Read Write Learning Center, this hands-on workshop will take place Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the West Regional Library. The event will raise awareness and empathy among parents and educators for what children with dyslexia experience in reading, writing and auditory/visual tasks. Through "Experience Dyslexia," a simulation kit developed by IDA Northern California, participants rotate through activity stations, each designed to mimic a specific challenge faced by individuals with dyslexia. Registration is recommended. To learn more, visit https://live-mobilepl.pantheonsite.io/event/walking-their-shoes-dyslexia-simulation-parents-educators-12536.
