Search for clues about Mobile's past from Saturday, May 30, until Sunday, July 5, and turn in an answer sheet at Mobile Public Library's Local History and Genealogy Division. In 1977, the City of Mobile celebrated Mobile's 275th birthday by burying a time capsule filled with Spirit of Mobile memorabilia at Fort Conde, to be opened in 2026. During this FREE event, participants of all ages are invited to unearth clues about the city's past before the capsule is set to be unearthed on July 5. Prizes will be awarded.
