THE 7TH ANNUAL GRILLED CHEESE MELTDOWN

The Grilled Cheese Meltdown is back for the cheesiest event in downtown Mobile on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in Cathedral Square. Up to 20 creative cooking teams, split into non-restaurant and restaurant categories, will serve their most delicious and inventive spins on everyone’s favorite comfort sandwich. Participants can taste, enjoy and vote for their favorites. Pre-sale tickets are $12, and day-of tickets are $15. All proceeds benefit the Urban Emporium, downtown Mobile’s retail incubator dedicated to revitalizing downtown retail.
