SONGWRITING FOR NON-SONGWRITERS

Test your songwriting skills at the Songwriting for Non-Songwriters Two-Session Workshop, on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Dauphin Island Heritage and Arts Council. Singer, Songwriter, and Poet Mike Turner will teach you how to turn words into songs. He will cover music genres, lyrics, rhymes, song structure, melody, where the music comes from, and the business of songwriting. No musical experience is required. Tickets are $60.
