PINKY POP-UP BENEFITING ALABAMA CONTEMPORARY ARTS CENTER

Renowned photographer Pinky Bass is opening up her archives for a benefit sale on Friday, Sept. 26, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Alabama Contemporary Art Center's Satellite. Come early and be ready to dig through a lifetime's worth of art and images including hand-developed photography prints, tests, hand-stitched, hand-rendered and handmade objects from the South’s most prolific creative hands. Admission is FREE, and there will be food trucks and music throughout the day. There will also be a preview party on Thursday, Sept. 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. ($25 for members; $50 for nonmembers).
