OAKLAWN MEMORIAL CEMETERY CLEAN-UP

In honor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, Keep Mobile Beautiful will host a FREE volunteer cleanup on Saturday, Jan. 17, at 9 a.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery Gloves, grabbers, T-shirts, snacks and water will be provided. Parking is available at Truevine Missionary Baptist Church at the corner of Yukers and MLK Jr. Boulevard or along Holt Road, on the cemetery side of the street. Additional parking is available on Whitney Street at the First Baptist Church Carver Holmes. Volunteers are expected to arrive a few minutes before 9 a.m for a quick safety assessment and task assignment. If possible, bring power tools to assist with clearing thick grass and brush.
