MOBILE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA BEETHOVEN AND BLUE JEANS (TWO PERFORMANCES)

Mobile Symphony Orchestra's annual casual concert, an audience favorite, will be performed under Conductor Scott Speck on Saturday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 15, ar 2:30 p.m. at the Saenger Theatre. Accordionist Radu Ratoi, winner of the 2024 Young Concert Artists Susan Wadsworth International Auditions, will perform Piazzolla’s Aconcagua Concerto, paired with one of Beethoven's most joyous symphonies. The concert opens with with Kodály’s Dances of Galánta, a dazzling, toe-tapping tribute to Hungarian Romani folk music, and closes with Beethoven’s bold and upbeat Second Symphony.
