MOBILE LITERARY FESTIVAL

Find a new read, pitch a new story, perfect a new manuscript, all at the Mobile Literary Festival. Saturday May 14, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ben May Main Library. You can browse the Haunted Book Shop’s local author showcase and popup shop, hone your editing skills with award-winning author Johnnie Bernhard, learn to research like a pro, brown bag it at Negative Capability Press’ Lunch & Listen, and give your best pitch during a live “Pitch Wars.” Wrap up the day with a special appearance reading and Q&A by Alabama Poet Laureate, Ashley M. Jones. The 2022 Mobile Literary Festival is brought to you by the Mobile Public Library, Mobile Writers’ Guild, and The Haunted Book Shop. This community event is FREE and open to the public.
