Join the Marx Library at the University of South Alabama for Mobile and the Persistence of Jim Crow Health Care, a presentation by Dr. David Barton Smith on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 6 p.m. Dr. Smith is an Emeritus Professor at Temple University and a Research Professor in the Department of Health Management and Policy at Drexel University. He will be discussing his new book, Malicious Intent: Murder and the Perpetuation of Jim Crow Health Care (Vanderbilt UP, 2023). This event is part of the Mobile Medical Museum's annual lecture series and is co-presented by the University of South Alabama’s Department of History. Attendance is free.
