The Kearria Kares Foundation TBI Awareness Charity Walk, a community event dedicated to raising awareness, support and hope for individuals and families affected by Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), will be held Saturday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to noon at Medal of Honor Park. Honor survivors, remember loved ones and stand in solidarity with caregivers while promoting education, advocacy and resources to raise awareness about TBI. Walk in support of a loved one, as a survivor or as a community ally. The event is open to all ages and abilities. Participants are encouraged to walk at their own pace, wear awareness colors and help spread the message that TBI awareness, understanding and support matter. The Early Bird registration price is $30; after Feb. 15, the cost is $35. All proceeds benefit the Kearria Kares Foundation, supporting its mission to educate communities, provide resources and advocate for those impacted by traumatic brain injuries.
