The Historic Mobile Preservation Society's Historical Lecture Series will feature an engaging historic presentation on the Battle of Mobile Bay, one of the most pivotal naval battles of the Civil War, by author, historian and University of South Alabama's Head of Track and Field Paul Brueske on Sunday, Aug. 16, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Cox-Deasy Cottage.
