GULF COAST MAC DOWN

The Gulf Coast Mac Down, a macaroni and cheese cookoff, will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7, from noon to 4 p.m. at Mardi Gras Park in downtown Mobile. Chefs, pitmasters, restaurateurs and connoisseurs compete for the chance to win the Golden Noodle Award. The event will feature live music, cake walks, vendors and loads of mac and cheese. Admission is $14 per person for ages 6 and up; children under 6 are admitted FREE. Ticket holders sample more than 20 mac and cheese entries to cast their people's choice votes.
