Explore the art of handmade books in a creative "make-and-take" series for adults held weekly from Saturday, Jan. 3, to Saturday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Mobile Museum of Art. Participants will paint and collage their own decorative papers, then learn to transform them into unique book forms such as journals, zines, concertina mini-books or origami-folded books. Leave each session with a one-of-a-kind creation that’s both art and keepsake. The cost is $150 for museum members and $180 for nonmembers.
