An opening reception for the Fleur-de-Lis art exhibit will take place on Sunday, Jan. 15, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Central Midtown. The fleur-de-lis has been woven into the identity of Mobile since its earliest days as a French colony. This FREE art exhibit features local artists exploring and and reinterpreting this iconic symbol through their own creative lens. Their only guideline: the fleur-de-lis must be a central, intentional element of the artwork.Light refreshments will be provided. For more information, go to www.centralmidtown.org/gallery.
