FEAR FEST AT THE EXPLOREUM (4 DATES)

Discover the science behind fear before experiencing it on the big screen on Saturdays, Oct. 3, 10, 24, and 31, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Exploreum Science Center. Tickets include admission to the immersive exhibit "Fear," where guests will explore the science behind phobia, fear responses, and the psychology of what makes people afraid. Then, at 6:30 p.m., settle into the PCI Digital Dome Theater as the night’s featured film begins.

The movie schedule includes:

• Oct. 3: "Snakes on a Plane"
• Oct. 10: "Final Destination"
• Oct. 24: "Poltergeist"
• Oct. 31: "The Conjuring"
