EXPLORECON: A DAY OF ANIMATION

Fans of animation will have the best day ever at ExploreCon, where science, animation and everyone's favorite characters come together, on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Exploreum Science Center. Guests are invited to dress as their favorite family-friendly character and get ready for themed science demonstrations, activities, movies and plenty of animated fun throughout the Exploreum. "SpongeBob SquarePants the Movie" will be shown at 10:30 a.m., followed by "Space Jam" at 2 p.m. Experience The Animation Academy before it leaves the Exploreum on Oct. 10. Explore the creative process behind animation and discover how characters and stories are brought to life.
