DAUPHIN ISLAND LUAU

The town of Dauphin Island will sponsor an Island Luau on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Dauphin Island Community Center. Enjoy music by The Salt Shakers (a Jimmy Buffett tribute band), an island meal featuring Kahlua pork and Huli Huli chicken, Hawaiian-style desserts and a fresh fruit bar. Professional hula dancers will perform, with hula lessons starting at 6:30 p.m. to learn a special dance to the "Lilo & Stitch" theme and a traditional dance lesson at 8 p.m. Personal coolers are welcome.
