CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: MOBILE COUNTY'S AMERICA 250 YOUTH CIVIC REFLECTION CONTEST

Mobile County students in grades K-12 are invited to participate in the America 250 Youth Civic Reflection Contest through June 22. As part of Mobile County's commemoration of America's 250th anniversary, students are encouraged to reflect on the question, "250 Years Later, What Does Freedom Mean to You Today?" and share their perspectives through original artwork, photography or video and a 250-word caption.

FREE to enter.

• Students must be Mobile County residents currently enrolled in grades K-12.
• Entries may be submitted as an original piece of artwork or a photo/short reel accompanied by a 250-word caption.
• All participants will receive a gift or prize, and selected students will be recognized by the Mobile County Commission and invited to present their work at Government Plaza.

Entries are due June 22 and should be submitted via email to publicaffairs@mobilecountyal.gov.
