BUBBA DUB AND FRIENDS PRE-MARDI GRAS COMEDY JAM

An epic night of standup comedy featuring headliner Bubba Dub will take place on Saturday, Jan. 3, at 8 p.m. at the Saenger Theatre. Known for his viral "Trash Man" videos and authentic, relatable humor, Bubba Dub promises an evening of nonstop laughs. He will be joined by a lineup of incredible comedians, including J.J. Williams, a Mississippi native and co-host of DeDe In The Morning, known for his country twang and hilarious catchphrases; Henry Welch, a seasoned vet who has been seen on HBO's "Def Comedy Jam" and toured with comedy legend Mike Epps; Just Nesh, a Chicago comic who quickly rose to fame after appearing on Kevin Hart's "Hart of the City" and has her own half-hour special; and Ashima Franklin, a Mobile native who brings a "no-holds-barred" approach, honed from years of touring with Katt Williams and writing for Russell Simmons's "All Def Digital."
