In celebration of Black History Month, the City of Mobile Parks and Recreation Department invites you out to a movie series with panel discussion. Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, 6 p.m. at James Seals Community Center come out and enjoy the film 42.
Jackie Robinson becomes the first African American to play in Major League Baseball in the modern era when he was signed by the Brooklyn Dodgers and faces considerable racism in the process. Film is rated PG-13.
After the film a panel discussion will be led by Dr. Raoul Richardson. All ages are welcome, and registration is not required. Plus, a special market will take place during this Final Movie Night.
