BARK IN THE PARK

Bark in the Park, the ultimate dog-friendly FREE festival celebrating our furry companions with a day full of fun, community and canine excitement, will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Medal of Honor Park. Stroll through a vibrant marketplace featuring local vendors offering the best in dog products, from tasty treats and handmade collars to toys and custom pet gear. Chat with local veterinarians, groomers and professional dog trainers. Dogs can test their speed and skill on an interactive agility course that's fun, safe and open to all skill levels; participate in an Obedience Challenge, with the top dog taking home a special prize; and strut their stuff at a Dog Fashion Show, where canine couture meets crowd-pleasing cuteness. Adorable, adoptable dogs from local shelters and rescues will be there, too, looking to find their forever homes. All dogs must be leashed.
