ART YARD PARTY

The Art Yard Party, Alabama Contemporary Art Center’s summer lawn party and fundraiser, will be held Saturday, June 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at AC Satellite. The event will feature food and libations as well as carnival games, art activities, whimsical creatures, music and absurdist entertainment. All ages are welcome. Tickets are $50 for non-member adults, $10 for non-member children and $35 for ACAC members whose kids get in FREE. Add-ons also include a family make-and-take artwork project with Colleen Comer and a DIY tie dye station. Proceeds go to renovation and programming of AC Satellite, an arts education hub in downtown Mobile, the soon-to-be home to artist residencies, outreach, pop-up programs and arts education.
