Central Presbyterian Church will host the next Awakening Respect and Compassion For All Sentient Beings dinner on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 5 p.m. at the church. They will be serving a delicious Mexican feast catered by Clint and Tracey Baucom from Crooked Carrot Farms. the food runs out! Dinner will be followed by a screening of the short award-winning documentary film "Until All Are Free," filmed and directed by ARC's Director Tracey Glover, and a Q&A discussion with the film's director. The film looks at the far-reaching impacts of animal agriculture and traces the roots of social injustice and our environmental crisis back to our hierarchical and exploitative relationship with “the other.” Dinner is by donation and open to the public.
