Alabama Coastal Foundation's 12th annual Sustainability Summit will take place on Friday, Jan. 30, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Lodge at Gulf State Park. The Alabama Coastal Foundation (ACF) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization with the mission to improve and protect Alabama's coastal environment through cooperation, education and participation. Each year, ACF convenes a Sustainability Summit to encourage people in the private, public and social sectors to understand the economic and environmental benefits of using sustainable practices. The 2026 theme is Doing More with Less: Simple actions every person, business, nonprofit, school and governmental agency can implement to save money and help the environment. This event is sponsored in part by the Mobile County Commission. For more information, go to www.joinacf.org/2026-sustainability-summit.
