A Heritage Lecture Series program will take place Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Africatown Heritage House in Mobile. As part of the March Heritage Lecture Series and Women’s History Month, this engaging program features Miss Juneteenth Pageant 2025 Queens Victoria Howell and Savannah Jones, who will spotlight the powerful stories of African American women whose impact and leadership deserve greater recognition, while also sharing how local youth can get involved in the program. Admission is free. Come learn something new, be inspired by rising young leaders, and celebrate stories that don’t always get the spotlight.
