Travel to where the last known ship to bring African slaves into America rests on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., departing from the Mobile Convention Center. The Clotilda lies in the waters of the Mobile River north of the city. Africatown Experience Givers will guide you there and tell the story of that fateful voyage and the people aboard the ship, which was re-discovered in May 2019.
