8TH ANNUAL KING CAKE-OFF

The 8th Annual King Cake-Off presented by PNC, a celebration of sweet competition and community spirit, will take place on Friday, Jan. 23, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Mobile Convention Center. Local bakeries, eateries and grocery stores will go head-to-head for the title of Best King Cake and Best King Cake-Inspired Treat. This family-friendly event will include live music, local vendors, kids’ activities, specialty cocktails, endless King Cake tastings and more. Proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast, helping ignite the power and promise of youth. General admission tickets go on sale Nov. 28.
