77TH ANNUAL BLESSING OF THE FLEET

The 77th Annual Blessing of the Fleet will take place on Saturday, May 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Bayou La Batre. This fun-filled family event celebrates the town's seafood industry heritage with a gumbo cook-off on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a boat parade and blessing from the Archbishop on Sunday at 3 p.m., along with children's activities, arts and crafts, bayou boat tours, seafood and more on both days.
