Labor Day is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. The AFL-CIO of Southwest Alabama invites you out to their 75th annual Labor Day Parade, Monday Sept. 5, 2022, at 9:45 a.m. The parade will pay tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of the community. The parade launches and returns to the Mobile Civic Center parking lot and will roll rain or shine (unless there is a hurricane)!
